Cultivation
This species tolerates temperatures down to about -7°c in Australian gardens, though this cannot be applied directly to British gardens because of the cooler summers, that can often fail to fully ripen new growth, and the longer, colder and wetter winters. This plant generally requires cold greenhouse treatment in Britain. Requires a well-drained humus-rich soil and a cool root run.
