Thelesperma filifolium
Thelesperma filifolium
Safety & Hazards
None known
Cultivation Details
Succeeds in any moderately fertile well-drained soil in full sun[1]. There is some confusion over this name. According to the Flora of North America[2], the name Thelesperma trifidum (Poir.)Britton. has often been misapplied to T. filifolium. T. trifidum does not appear in the Flora of North America, but T. filifolium does and the description, range etc given to T. trifidum are the same as those for T. filifolium[2]. Therefore, although all our records of use are given for T. trifidum, we have moved them to T. filifolium[PFAF].
