Botanical Description

Eustrephus latifolius is a perennial climbing plant growing from a tuberous rootstock. A reasonably vigorous plant, climbing by means of twining stems though also found scrambling over the ground. It can grow up to 5 metres tall The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a food and medicine.
