Botanical Description
Streptopus amplexifolius is an erect, herbaceous perennial plant producing a cluster of freely-branched stems from a thick, creeping rhizome; it can grow from 50 - 120cm tall. The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a food, medicine and source of incense. It is sometimes grown as an ornamental.
