Botanical Description

Bikinia durandii is an evergreen tree with a usually narrow and irregular crown; it can grow up to about 60 metres tall. The straight, cylindrical bole can be free of branches for about 30 metres, up to 130cm in diameter with small or rather braod buttresses up to 2.5 metres high and radiating several meters from the tree[ 896 Title Monopetalanthus exit.
