Botanical Description

Faramea occidentalis is a slender, glabrous, evergreen shrub or a tree with a pyramidal or elongate crown; it, rarely reaches a height of 9 metres, usually being much lower. The straight bole can be 8cm or more in diameter[331,447, 551]. The plant is harvested from the wild for local use of its wood.
