Botanical Description
Bambusa surrecta is an evergreen, clump-forming bamboo with erect canes 6 - 10 metres tall. The thin-walled canes are 30 - 60mm in diameter with internodes 40 - 50cm long. The canes are often harvested from the wild for local use as a source of material for weaving.
