Botanical Description

Lilium leichtlinii maximowiczii is a herbaceous perennial bulbiferous plant producing a leafy stem around 120cm tall The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a food. It is sometimes cultivated as a food crop in Japan and is also sometimes grown as an ornamental.
