Botanical Description

Lophostemon confertus is a fast-growing, evergreen tree with a dense crown. It usually grows up to 40 metres tall in the tropical areas of its range, but exceptionally can reach 54 metres. It becomes smaller as it moves into the subtropics until eventually, in the harshest areas of its range, it is a stunted tree just a few metres tall.
