Botanical Description

Cyclopia subternata is an erect, densely branched shrub. This species is one of the major sources of honeybush tea. It is collected in large quantities from the wild and is also sometimes cultivated. The tea is commonly drunk in S. Africa and is also becoming more popular on a global basis.
