Botanical Description

Cissus producta is a climbing plant producing annual stems from 2 - 20 metres long from a perennial, tuberous rootstock. The stems scramble over the ground, climbing into the surrounding vegetation and supporting themselves by means of tendrils. The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a food, medicine and insect repellent.
