Botanical Description

Decorsea schlechteri is a herbaceous perennial, twining plant with rather slender stems 1 - 3 metres long growing from a woody rootstock. The stems scramble over the ground, twining into the surrounding vegetation for support. The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a food.
