Botanical Description
Heritiera sumatrana is an evergreen tree that can grow up to 45 metres tall. The straight, cylindrical bole can be up to 70cm in diameter with buttresses up to 3 metres high and 2 metres out from the tree[ 1029 Title A Monograph of the Genus Heritiera, Aiton, (Sterculariaceae).
