Botanical Description

Azorella filamentosa is a dwarf, much branched perennial plant producing extensive soft cushions of growth 8 - 10cm tall from a woody rootstock. The plant is sometimes harvested from the wild for local use as a food. Occasional plants produce only male flowers.
