Botanical Description

Maianthemum dilatatum is an erect, herbaceous perennial plant producing a tight clump of unbranched stems 20 - 45cm tall from a rhizomatous rootstockthat can grow up to 0.20 metres tall. The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a food and a medicine.
