Botanical Description
Ampelocissus martini is a vigorous climbing shrub producing woody stems from a tuberous rootstock. The stems clamber into nearby plants for support, attaching themselves by means of their conspicuous tendrils. The edible fruit is sometimes gathered from the wild for local use.
