Botanical Description

Fragaria daltoniana is a herbaceous perennial plant producing a rosette of leaves from a central rootstock; the plant can grow 4 - 6cm tall, spreading freely by means of stolons to form a colony The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a food and a medicine.
