Botanical Description
Acanthosyris falcata is a spiny, deciduous shrub or small tree with a large and intricate crown; it can grow up to 10 metres tall. The bole can be 20 - 40cm in diameter. The tree yields an edible fruit that is often gathered from the wild by children.
