Growth—

Grows best in a sunny position^[1]. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil of at least moderate fertility^[1].

Propagation

Seed - best sown as soon as it is ripe in a partially shaded position in individual containers. A low germination rate can be expected, with the seed taking a long time to sprout^[1]. The seed has a very low viability in storage, of probably less than 30 days^[1].
