Growth—

Mangifera minor is a species that is quite tolerant of climatic conditions, growing in tropical forests with an all year round rainfall and also in savannah with a distinct dry season, though the trees are rather stunted in the savannah. It succeeds at elevations from sea level up to 1,300 metres[1]. Plants can commence flowering when only 4 metres tall and often still shrub-like[1].
