Growth—
Jacaranda obtusifolia is planted as an ornamental. It can escape from cultivation and has sometimes become naturalised outside of its native distribution[1]. A showy and very ornamental species due to its delicate leaflets that resemble the leaves of ferns and for its abundant and beautiful blue flowers, which bloom exactly when the tree is leafless[2].
