Growth—
Fibigia clypeata is a plant of warm temperate to subtropical climates. It can tolerate winter temperatures falling to around -10°c[1]. Prefers a hot dry well-drained soil in a sunny position[2, 1].
Propagation
Seed - sow early spring in a cold frame. When they are large enough to handle, prick the seedlings out into individual pots and plant them out in late spring. If you have sufficient seed then it is worth making an outdoor sowing in situ in the middle of spring.
