Calligonum comosum is native to arid regions, often growing in areas where the mean annual rainfall is less than 100mm[1]. Requires a well-drained, sandy soil and a sunny position[1].
Propagation
Seed - very easy[2]. The seed is probably best sown in a sunny position in late winter in a greenhouse. Prick out the seedlings when they are large enough to handle and grow them on in the greenhouse for their first winter. Plant out in early summer of the following year.
