Cultivation
Leucostele terscheckii is native to semi-arid climates, found from low to moderate elevations in the Andes of northern Argentina and Bolivia. It can tolerate short-lived frosts with temperatures falling as low as -8°c, but requires hot daytime temperatures. In cultivation, Cactus plants generally will not succeed in moist climates.
